The coronavirus outbreak has been a global challenge to all industries. RTIA has witnessed the retail industry and catering industry overcoming adversity with innovative and efficient strategies.

On top of the Innovation Awards for Retailers, Vendors and Startups, RTIA will be honouring outstanding parties with Digital Transformation Awards for their impressive performance through digital transformation in this difficult time.

Established in 2003, the Hong Kong Retail Technology Industry Association (RTIA) is a non-profit trade organization dedicated to promote the awareness and adoption of the latest technologies across retailing, and to connect stakeholders for cross-sector collaboration, that benefits the retail industry in Hong Kong and the region.

In order to recognize and encourage excellence in retail technology adoption, we organised the first ever Hong Kong Retail Innovation Award in 2017 which honor the outstanding retailers and technology vendors driving the innovation.  In addition, there is an award category recognizes the most innovative product or service developed by local start-ups.

Similarly, recognizing mainland Greater Bay Area enterprises for venturing into Hong Kong, setting up subsidiaries and branches, and leveraging local Hong Kong retail technology to expand their operations.
